I played a few roles on this project. First, I modeled the spaceship from the ground up, armed with sketches provided by the incredibly talented Ian Hunter. I used the sketches to create a 3D model of the ship. I then used this model to extract both a skeletal structure of cross sections as well as all of the surface geometry of the ship. I arranged and packaged these drawings, along with assembly diagrams, before sending it all over to production for them to create and assemble.

I also created vinyl graphics for the environmental miniature. These graphics were direct recreations of studio-provided references from real-life locations and imagery. I used the provided media to recreate the graphics at scale for application on the completed model.

This was an incredibly exciting project to be a part of and I am always grateful to work with Pro Machina. The team is fantastic to work with and always produces outstanding results.
